🎶 Valley Day Festival – A Community Celebration in Riverside Park
Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 6, because Easton’s Riverside Park is the place to be. From 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Valley Day Festival will fill the riverfront with music, food, games, and activities for all ages.
This all-day event is designed to bring the community together at summer’s end. Picture families stretched out on picnic blankets, the smell of barbecue drifting through the air, kids chasing bubbles near the stage, and local bands keeping the crowd energized. With food vendors and performances running throughout the day, it’s an easy, low-stress outing that keeps everyone entertained.
For parents, Valley Day is especially nice because it’s not overwhelming in size—it’s big enough to be exciting, but still has that small-town community feel.
Parent Tips
Bring chairs or a blanket: Seating is mostly lawn-style, so a blanket spread out by the river makes for a perfect home base.
Pack the extras: Sunscreen, water bottles, and bug spray go a long way when you’re outdoors all day.
Plan ahead for parking: Lots near Riverside Park can fill up quickly—arriving a little earlier means less hassle.
Valley Day is the kind of event where you’re just as likely to bump into a neighbor as you are to discover a new favorite food truck. It’s a chance for families to slow down, connect, and celebrate the end of summer together in one of Easton’s most beautiful settings.

📅 Date: Saturday, September 6, 2025

🎶 Spur-of-the-Moment Fun: Old Dominion Hits Allentown Tomorrow Night
Still don’t have plans for tomorrow night? Here’s a great idea: grab a couple of friends and head over to the PPL Center in Allentown because Old Dominion is rolling into town with their How Good Is That – World Tour. The show kicks off Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 7:00 PM, and it’s shaping up to be a perfect way to sneak a little weekend energy into your Thursday.
If you’ve never seen Old Dominion live, they’re the kind of band that makes even a big arena feel like a backyard hangout. Their setlists are packed with the songs you know by heart—like “Break Up With Him,” “Hotel Key,” and “Make It Sweet”—but they also mix in new tracks from their latest album, Barbara. And here’s the fun part: they often take requests straight from the crowd, so no two shows are ever quite the same.
The vibe is always upbeat, playful, and a little unpredictable—like you’re in on something special. Whether you’ve been a fan for years or just want an easy night out full of live music, this is one of those concerts you’ll be glad you didn’t miss.
Tickets are still up for grabs (for now!), so this could be your perfect last-minute plan. Instead of scrolling for something to do, you could be singing along with thousands of others, celebrating the start of September with good friends, good music, and plenty of feel-good energy.
